This is a seven-module course on HIV & Aging. We recommend that over time you view all modules in the series, however each module is self-contained and viewers can select the modules that are most relevant to them.
At the end of each module, the viewer may claim one hour of NCPD and download a NCPD certificate OR complete a short evaluation and receive a certificate of attendance.
Social isolation is an important topic that is relevant to all the modules. We have included a separate short video on this topic and strongly encourage you to watch it. People aging with HIV who have lived through the AIDS epidemic experienced tremendous loss, stigma and discrimination that have affected their long-term health, including mental health, and can exacerbate the feeling of isolation.
You will log in to each module with your first and last name, email, and a few questions which will give you access to each module. After the completion of each module, you will be able to download a certificate of attendance or claim NCPD credit.
The three line menu icon in the upper left corner of every page will take you back to the course home page and other course sites.
The main page NCPD bar provides general NCPD information. There are tabs within each module to claim NCPD or certificate of attendance for each module after viewing each module completely.
Click here to view the ANAC website. The ANAC website provides resources and additional webinars and learning opportunities across many HIV/AIDS related topics. If you have questions about any of the modules in this course or ANAC’s professional development offerings, please contact info@anacnet.org
The resources tab lists journal articles and websites with more information about HIV and more information for each of the subjects covered in each module. There are general and advanced resources listed for each module. This tab is updated periodically.
Information about participating faculty members is detailed within each module landing page.
